Performance Psychologist

MPysch (Sport & Ex)

Cameron is a Performance Psychologist with a background in sport and performance. He has experience working with professional and amateur athletes and coaches across a range of performance contexts, including basketball, soccer, AFL, and many other sports. He also works as an injury management consultant and has a special interest in injury rehabilitation and pain management.

Cameron is passionate about helping others overcome their unique obstacles and live flexible, and fulfilling lives. He uses a warm, and collaborative approach to help his clients develop more adaptive behaviours, and aims at using clients’ values to guide, motivate, and inspire change.

He believes in a holistic approach to performance and that the wellbeing of athletes off field is just as important as their performance on it. He has worked with athletes, coaches, teams, and sporting organisations to both enhance performance, and improve wellbeing.

Cameron’s practice is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Positive Psychology. When he is not working Cameron enjoys keeping fit through playing basketball, yoga, travelling, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
