As apart of Health Place’s consistent commitment to providing world class therapists, we have two brand new faces to introduce!
One has a background in playing elite level sport and currently practices musculoskeletal treatments and the other is a top level remedial massage therapist who has through experience and implements a wide variety of techniques to achieve results.
Get to know them a little better below!
Troy holds a bachelor of health science (musculoskeletal therapy) and a diploma in remedial massage. He is currently studying a masters in sports chiropractic.
Troy currently works with junior tennis players and athletes to keep their bodies healthy, while tailor making strengthening programs to further enhance their skill set.
Troy also uses his experience of being an elite athlete in the sporting world, combined with biomechanical expertise in different sports including football, running, tennis and golf to perform world class treatments.
He currently works with elite tennis players and 100 & 200 metre sprinters in the Australian Olympic team.
Troy specialises in the treatment of head and neck conditions, shoulder and elbow pain. He also uses Martland and Mulligan techniques for biomechanical analysis and joint mobilisation, while using Schmann for exercise rehab.
Lastly, along with joint mobilisation and soft tissue techniques, also uses electro dry needling. This specialised procedure is used to treat conditions through the nervous system.

Rachael is a Remedial Therapist and one of the newest members of the world class Health Place family.
Rachael has had experience working in rehabilitation, ensuring patients achieve their short and long term goals.
Her areas of expertise include:

- Sports Massage
- Myofascial Release
Rachael uses soft tissue techniques, combined with Trigger Point therapy to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
Rachel has lived abroad in Spain for nearly 3 years, working as a nanny before moving back to Australia to pursue her childhood dream of working and helping people through massage.
